Big Deal

I always get those $10 off $10 coupons for JCPenney, and I never seem to make time to stop at the mall to use them.  I finally made it a point to stop yesterday.  Dan got a pair of leather gloves for $1.99 {reg. price $30 on sale for $14.99 + door buster brought it down to $11.99 + $10 off coupon}.  I got a sweater for $3.20 {reg. price $44 + 70% off clearance + $10 off coupon}.
Then...we ventured over to Bath & Body Works, because I had two coupons {$10 off $30 purchase and FREE item from the signature collection with any purchase...as long as the coupons come in the same mailing, they can both be used in the same transaction}.  I stocked up on 10 winter foaming hand soaps that were on sale for 6/$20 or 4/$15 {I plan to stick one of these in with several Christmas gifts} and a full-sized warm vanilla sugar body spray.  Without coupons, I would have spent $67, but I got all of that for a grand total of....wait for it....$24.72!
If I would have paid full price for everything I bought today, I would have spent $141...I got it all for under $30, which gives me a total savings of $111.09!
This is my haul.  I love good deals, and I can't wait to continue finding them during this holiday season when gift-giving abounds :)

  2. Thanks, Teri! They were having great sales, but Joel isn't the best shopper at the mall, so I didn't get antyhing else...I guess that's probably a good thing for my wallet! :)
